CRONULLA NRL forward Reni Maitua has accepted a two-year penalty for returning a positive drug test under the World Anti-Doping Authority code.
An Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority test undertaken on May 1 this year revealed the presence of the banned substance Clenbuterol, which is prohibited under the WADA list.
Maitua decided not to appeal against the test result.
