Is Clenbuterol approved by the FDA?

We often get asked questions relating to the legal status of clenbuterol. Due to the fact that we have customers from all over the world, it is very difficult to give an accurate answer, after all, laws differ from country to country.

In the USA, Clenbuterol has been approved for use in animals for the treatment of asthma related symptoms. It is not however FDA approved for human use.

This article will set out to discuss the reasons why it is not FDA approved as of yet and why it is not likely to be approved in the future.

First we have to look at how clenbuterol works. Clenbuterol users need only take clenbuterol once a day. This is because clenbuterol has an active half-life of 24 to 36 hours.

This means that clenbuterol is fully active in the body for this period of time. After 24 to 36 hours, the clenbuterol is processed by the body and it's strength is reduced by half. It is then halved in strength every 24 to 36 hours from then on.

Because of this, users need to be very careful about the dosage they take. Because clenbuterol stays active for so long, if a patient was to take an over-dose, the repercussions pose a larger threat.

At present, no states have placed clenbuterol under control."

We take this to read that it is not illegal to possess clenbuterol for personal use. In 5 years we have not heard of any cases of our customers being prosecuted for possession of clenbuterol, and unless the law changes in the future, there should be little legal risk in taking this weight loss product.
